I've been wondering... if you receive a gift, is that related to being one of the thirteen? Or is one of the thirteen giving out the gifts?

Do we need to be under a certain number after an amount of weeks, or was it just... how long it took them to get to that number?

That would require us to reach the land, wouldn't it...?

Mm. Maybe they launched themselves out of the ship and jumped very far?

I suppose that's the only way to avoid the ocean bringing us back up to the ship.
